First of all, this review deserves a round of applause. I mean for real, clap for this man …who calls himself “NerdWriter1”, and for what he has achieved in under a 7 minute run-time.

Not to try and type out the complete rundown word for word of the video but “Nerdwriter1” has done what we in the Caribbean have been literally screaming for decades, proper accreditation from those just getting familiar with Caribbean music and way of life.

The fact that the video already has over 800,000 views, and counting, should make everyone of Caribbean descent pleased that a key aspect of their culture is getting its just due. So please take the time to watch this video, who knows, you might even learn something new about Caribbean music.

The laid-back “Work” finds Rihanna infectiously singing over the same dancehall-inspired vibe that drove hit singles like Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?,” while Drake’s verse finds the rapper confessing, “If you had a twin, I’d still choose you.”
