One of perks of living in Jamaica is never being too far from a beach. Weekends and public holidays are normally the times that locals take the day, load up their cars and make the trek to the nearest seafront. Because of its proximity to the capital city, Hellshire, the largest of a series of narrow beaches located in the municipality of Portmore, is extremely popular with most Kingstonians, as many first memories with the sea is along that shoreline.
As the word beach is synonymous with relaxation, visitors and locals alike love nothing more than lounging in the sun, eating seafood while watching waves come in. It is within this backdrop we find Leighton. Leighton fancies himself to be Hellshire’s expert masseuse/reflexologist who is tasked with the daily mission of making sure his clients leave the beach relaxed and reenergized.
